RCB vs RR in IPL 2021: Mike Hesson hints two changes in RCB’s playing XI- Royal Challengers Banglore kicked started their IPL 2021 in grand fashion by win three matches on the trot. The Chennai pitch which was likely to trouble RCB batter turned out to be their best friend. Now that the team is gearing up for their Mumbai leg, RCB’s Director of Cricket Operation, Mike Hesson has hinted that the team management might make changes in the playing XI according to the conditions.

“We want to see how Daniel Sams recovers but Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa are fully up to speed now and will be considered along with Finn Allen, “Mike Hesson said in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of RCB.

RCB is ranked second in the points table and is the only team so far to remain unbeaten in IPL 2021.

“It’s always nice to have options. We have a well-balanced squad and we are happy with all the options that we got here. The hardest part is not everyone is going to play and keeping players motivated. At the moment a lot of players are getting the job done for us. We will just try to find the best combination against Rajasthan on this pitch,” said coach Simon Katich.

India bowler Navdeep Saini has not played a single game for RCB this season.

“There is a lot more bounce in this track here in Mumbai than it was in Chennai. We used the practice pitches a bit today and there is some support for the pacers and spinner. It is hard work time for some of the batsmen. But the pitch is a little bit used,” Katich added.

In no time Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell became a vital cog in RCB’s wheel. When asked about how he adapted to RCB’s team culture he said. “The conditions are a bit different here at the Wankhede. There have been some high scores scored here, so for our batting group, it is going to be exciting if we can get going and continue to add to those high totals. I felt like I have been right at home since day one, the coaching staff have been extremely supportive so have the players, it has been great fun so far,” said Maxwell.

Maxwell had played a knock of 78 in RCB’s last match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and he would be hoping to continue his form.
