Rabada given all clear, set to be included in DC Playing XI
RR vs DC in IPL 2021: The availability of Kagiso Rabada for selection right before the Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals clash will give Rishabh Pant and Co a big confidence boost. There was a Covid-19 scare for Rabada after his South African teammate and pace partner Anrich Nortje was tested positive on Wednesday. However, the DC lead fast bowler was given clearance after both of his Covid-19 tests had returned negative.

Delhi Capitals had shared a picture of Rabada giving final touch up to his preparations before the match. “Snapshots from the final hustle before the players step out to take on Rajasthan Royals,” it captioned.

Rabada had missed DC’s opening match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as he was undergoing a mandatory week-long quarantine. He and Nortje arrived together in Mumbai where Delhi is scheduled to play its first half of the season.

RR vs DC in IPL 2021: DC await Anrich Nortje’s second RT-PCR report
DC is eagerly waiting for Nortje’s second RT-PCR report. There are reports that he has tested positive but Delhi Capitals management has not yet come out with any official statement. As per the IPL SOP, all players who have a positive result are tested once again in order to ensure that the first RT-PCR outcome wasn’t a false one.

Nortje and fellow paceman Rabada had travelled together and reached Mumbai on April 6. They were supposed to be available from the second game after the completion of their seven days of hard quarantine and a negative RT-PCR result.
